  • 8 oz whipped topping Contributes to a fluffy finish.

For the Topping

  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained Adds fruity freshness.
  • 1 can peach pie filling Brings sweetness to the topping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the angel food cake mix box.
  • Grease your tube pan as directed.
  • Mix the angel food cake mix with water in a large mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let the cake cool upside down on a wire rack.

Filling Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Fold in the drained crushed pineapple and whipped topping until well combined.

Assembly

  • Once the cake has cooled, slice it in half carefully.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture on the bottom layer of the cake.
  • Top it with the peach pie filling.
  • Place the top layer back on the cake and serve.

Notes
